In My Kitchen

As a young girl I loved to sit on the counter and help my mom bake cookies.  But as I grew older and got involved with other things, I really didn't have any interest in food preparation.  As I started taking nutrition and health classes in college, my interest peaked and now I really enjoy trying new recipes and adapting recipes to make them a little healthier.  I am trying to learn more about cooking techniques, flavor combinations, and other things to make me a better cook for my family.  Here are some recipes I enjoy.
